Thi sympathy card is made with DSP on the higher half and with the textured Impressions (TM) and the Framed Tulip Embossing folder found in the Occasion Mini catalog. The chosen main colors include: Very Vanilla, Rose Red and Almost Artichoke. The 1/2 seam binding is taken from the Same Mini on page 16. The punch used is Scallop Trim Border. A few small pearls add a delicate finish.

Elegant Lines Sympathy Card

This elegant sympathy design is a much simpler card than a gorgeous card seen on D.Olfchefske blog. Dawn's card was dressed with a beautiful silk ribbon flower which I recommend if you like using ribbons. I will try when I have all the required products on hand. My card is much simpler and fairly easy to complete. I have used a white 'Big Note; insert inside using a print from the beautiful "Thanks for Caring" stamp set from the Occasion Mini catalog. The cardstock colors used are WW and RR. The Extra Large Scallop Circle and Scallop Trim Border punches, the embossing folder Elegant Lines and the pearls embellish the card. The card opens from the top and the size of the cards is half the cardstock lengthwise.

This spring birthday card was done at a March class. The stamp sets used are For a Friend, Playful Petals. The Cardstock include: Pretty Pink, Bashful Blue, Lavender, Apricot Appeal. The inks and markers are Basic Grey, Mellow Moss, Bashful Blue, Pretty Pink, Apricot Appeal.

The background includes a matching DSP. The tools used are Mat Pack. Scallop Edge Punch Blender Pens and Aqua Painters.

Friends 24-7

Spring is in the air.......and set "Friends 24-7" is highlighted.
The in-colors selected are Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss, complemented by DSP & Blue Bayou double stitched GG ribbon. Inks used are black, turquoise and olive green. All shades seem to get along with one another. The flowers is colored by markers.

"Classic Sketches" is the stamp set for this card. I fell in love with this set remembering my trip to Florence, Italy. The card stocks used are Red Riding, Whisper White and Elegant Eggplant. The ink is Red Riding. The background is created with the Hot Shot and the lovely 'Top Note'big die. The sentiment is left to add inside as the card can represent many thoughts.

November Rose Birthday Card

The "A Rose is a Rose" is a beautiful stamp set

from Stampin'Up Fall and Winter catalog 08.

I found this card and loved it as is.....so I reproduced it with small amendments and sent it to a very special person for her birthday.

The design takes time but it is fun to do. The double stamping with the stamp positioner works very well for the flower and leaf. The "riding hood red" stamp pad, card stock and tafeta ribbon enrich the design well. The match with "olive oil" cardstock and ink , special designer paper (SDP)blend beautifully. The other items used really seems at home. They are as page 199 in the current catalog. The different theme for this card is the message with the stamp set "Holiday & Wishes. I used "French Script" instead of "Francais" and did not want a button. You will enjoy making this design if you choose to. Enjoy!

Home for Christmas

My last class, before Christmas, I offered this card to my group. They enjoyed it particularly for the warmth and the layout. The technique used is Watercolor with Stampin'Up color pencils and aquapainter.

I can share the recipe on request.
